My primary responsibilities in Telstra revolved around designing and implementing innovative print-based and multi-media communication strategies that delivered significant business and customer value. Collaborating closely with key stakeholders, both internal creative teams and external agencies, I have successfully crafted creative campaigns and engaging visual materials that not only inspired audiences but also fulfilled the marketing objectives.
Additionally, I have taken ownership of design activities, including content creation and editing, visual asset management, and coordination of production and scheduling across various print-based and multi-media platforms.

Design Strategy and Innovation
As a Design Specialist at Telstra, I was entrusted with a diverse range of digital and print campaigns that showcased both creativity and the brand's distinct flair, all while adhering to stringent brand guidelines. Taking full ownership of each design brief, I conducted thorough research to identify prevailing trends and determine the most effective means of conveying the content. This enabled me to devise innovative solutions for every advertisement, ensuring that each campaign made a lasting impression while remaining consistent and engaging throughout.

As a collaborative Design Specialist, I have had the privilege of working closely with key stakeholders, including in-house creative teams and external agencies, to design and deliver impactful campaigns. By fostering a collaborative environment, I have been able to harness the collective expertise and creativity of various professionals to create campaigns that truly resonate with audiences.
An example of this collaborative approach is evident in my work with video animators for the 'Telstra Day' campaign, where we seamlessly combined visuals and storytelling to engage and captivate viewers.
Additionally, I collaborated with talented photographers to direct an unforgettable Christmas campaign, ensuring that the visuals aligned with the brand and brought the festive spirit to life. Through these collaborative efforts, I have consistently delivered engaging visual material that not only inspired audiences but also achieved the marketing objectives outlined in the brief.

Strategic Storytelling & Animation
As a Design Specialist at Telstra, one of my primary responsibilities was to develop detailed storyboards for advertising campaigns. I meticulously crafted each frame, ensuring that the visuals, messaging, and product features aligned seamlessly. My goal was to create compelling narratives that effectively communicated Telstra's product offerings while visually engaging the audience.

Below is an example of a ‘Hot Offer’ campaign where I integrated the concept of a ‘hot air balloon’ with the advertised product. Working closely with an animator, I developed a storyboard frame by frame, which was then animated to create the final product.

Through thoughtful visual designs and content, I have established the desired tone, character, and messaging that align with the brand's identity and objectives. Additionally, I have taken charge of creating and editing various communications and digital advertising content, managing valuable visual assets, and coordinating the production and scheduling of content across multiple platforms. By seamlessly integrating design elements into the content creation process, I have consistently delivered engaging and compelling visual experiences to captivate audiences and elevate the brand's presence.
